Critical Evaluation:
It is interesting to hear the difference between Hannah and Miley (who are, of course, the same person). Hannah's style with the Disney songs is very much boppy pop. Miley's songs, most of which she co-wrote, are edgier and more sophisticated, although still upbeat. There is almost a Leonard Cohen/spanish guitar feel to some of them. The lyrics are very much geared to the YA audience, talking about "boyfriends and girlfriends", etc. It's pretty funny to hear the (extremely high-pitched) screaming fans in the background, but it does add to the atmosphere of the CD.

Reader's Annotation:
Miley and Hannah, together at last! On this concert cd, listeners can hear the differences and similarities between them, and hear what they have to say to the fans at the concert.

About the Artist:
Miley Cyrus was born in Nashville, Tennessee in 1992. Her father is Billy Ray Cyrus, a country singer. She started her career as an actor when she was nine, and at twelve, she got a role on a Disney channel show. From there she "became" Hannah Montana.
